Virgo Pension Scheme
The Government of Madhya Pradesh has introduced Virgo Scheme to provide pension to a couple who only have daughters and they have been married off. This is done so that the government can provide financial security to the couple.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria of the Virgo Scheme is as follows.

Applicant should be native of Madhya Pradesh.

Applicant should not be an income tax payer

The age of one of the beneficiary couple should be 60 years or above.

There should only have daughters and all the daughters have got married off.

Applicant must not receive any financial assistance or pension from the Government or other local bodies of Governments.

Applicant should have aadhaar linked bank account number.
Documents Required

For the age and residence, one of the following is required- School leaving certificate / Birth certificate / Voter identity card / Ration card

Couple should only have daughter, this should be proved by presenting one of the following documents: - Ration card / Voter electoral rolls in which the name of the couple and the name of the family members is present / Gram Panchayat Certificate of Ward / Anganwadi / Asha Worker's Report Register / Self Certified Declaration

Self-certified declaration by the couple that they are not income tax payers.

If applicant is widow, death certificate of husband needs to be furnished.

Copy of the first page of the bank passbook / post office account.
