YSR EBC Nestham
The objective of the YSR EBC Nestham scheme is to financially empower Economically Backward Class women above 45 years and below 60 years by enhancing their livelihood opportunities and living standards, by offering financial assistance of Rs 45000 will be provided This financial assistance will be provided in 3 phases. Under the scheme, the government has disbursed Rs 15000 per Year.
Objective of YSR EBC Nestham
The objective of the scheme is to financially empower EBC women above 45 years and below 60 years by enhancing their livelihood opportunities and living standards, by offering financial assistance.
Financial Assistance under YSR EBC Nestham
The women who belong to the EBC community and are aged above 45 years and below 60 years shall be given financial assistance of Rs.45,000/- (Rs.15,000/- per annum) over a three year period by the Government.
Eligibility Criteria for YSR EBC Nestham

The total family annual income to be less than or equal to Rs. 2.50 lakhs.

Beneficiaries should only have the wetland below 10 acres/ dry land below 25 acres/ or wetland and dry land under 25 acres.

No family member should be a government employee or Government pensioner. The families of Sanitary workers are exempted.

The students must have availed admission in the colleges / universities or institutes recognized in regular courses.

B.Tech,B.Pharmacy,ITI,Polytechnic,B.Ed,M.Tech,M.Pharmacy,MBA,Other Degree/PG Courses (* For PG Courses only Government/University Colleges are eligible).

The students enrolled in the following institutions are eligible:

Government or Government Aided
-
Private Colleges affiliated to State Universities / Boards.

Day scholar students, students in College Attached Hostels (CAH) and Department Attached Hostels (DAH)

Aggregate attendance should be 75%
-
A family who owns no property or less than 1500 sq. ft. of built-up area (Residential or Commercial) in urban areas is eligible
-
No member of the family should own a four-wheeler (Taxis / Tractors/ Autos are exempted).

No family member should be an income tax payee
-
Students belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC (other than Kapu), Kapu, Minority and Differently Abled categories are eligible.

The applicant’s age should be between 45 – 60 Years, should have completed 45 years of age and less than 60 years as on the date of the issue of Government Order for the scheme.
Ineligible Categories

This scheme is not applicable to deemed and private varsities (Except for Government Quota).

The scheme is not applicable to students studying through distance learning and correspondence courses.
- This scheme is not applicable to the student belonging to management and NRI quotas

Identification of Beneficiary and Application Process
All eligible beneficiaries under this scheme shall be identified through the following process:

Identification of the eligible beneficiaries shall be carried out, on the ground level by a door to door survey conducted by the Village Volunteers in villages and Ward Volunteers in ULBs.

The identification of beneficiaries under the scheme is made in a foolproof manner, so as to ensure selection of only the eligible beneficiaries.

The Village / Ward Volunteers shall adhere to the eligibility criteria while identifying the beneficiaries.

The lists of the beneficiaries prepared by the Village Volunteers shall be validated by the Welfare Assistant and pushed to the respective MPDO/Municipal Commissioner for scrutiny. The MPDOs / Municipal Commissioners concerned shall peruse and scrutinize the beneficiary lists and proofs and then forward to the EDs of BC Corporation who in turn sends to the respective District Collector for approval.

The District Collectors shall verify the beneficiary list, approve the same and forward to the Managing Director, A.P State EBC Welfare & Development Corporation, for sanction of the amount.

Approved list shall be displayed in the Village / Ward Secretariat for Social Audit.

The Managing Director, A.P State EBC Welfare & Development Corporation shall verify the district-wise lists of the beneficiaries and sanction the amounts based on the budget available.
