The services of the real estate agent are intended to assist the allottee and promoter to exercise their respective rights and fulfil their respective obligations at the time of booking and sale of any plot, apartment or building registered before the Authority.  The primary qualification to become a real estate agent in Kerala is the registration of K-RERA. No minimum educational qualification is prescribed. Persons and Legal Persons can become real estate agents. A registered real estate agent can not able to entertain the dealings of non-registered projects which are registrable under the RERA Act, 2016.
