What you mean by getting your marriage certificate registered between April and August 1972 is not clear.

If your requirement is to register your marriage solemnized in 1972 under Common Marriag Rules you will have to obtain permission from the concerned Deputy Director of Panchayats. For this you may first approach the Grama Panchayat/Municipality where the marriage took place.
