ഔദ്യോഗിക രേഖകളിലേതിൽനിന്നും വ്യത്യസ്തമായി ഇനിഷ്യലുകൾ പേരിന് മുന്നേ വന്നിട്ടുള്ളത് മാറ്റി പേരിനുശേഷം ആക്കാൻ കഴിയും. മാതാപിതാക്കൾ ജീവിച്ചിരുപ്പുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ പേരു സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റുകളുടെ പകർപ്പുകൾ സഹിതം ജനന മരണ രജിസ്ട്രാർക്ക് അപേക്ഷ നൽകിയാൽ മതി. മാതാപിതാക്കൾ ജീവിച്ചിരിപ്പില്ലെങ്കിൽ ടി രേഖകൾ സഹിതം താങ്കൾ അപേക്ഷ നൽകിയാലും മതി.
