Eligibility Criteria of Captain Smart Connect Scheme Punjab
To be eligible for the captain smart connect scheme, an individual
-
Must be a resident of Punjab
-
Must belong to the age group of 18-35 years
-
Must have passed Class 10th
-
Must have a household income less than INR 6 lakhs a year
How to apply online for Captain Smart Connect Scheme Punjab?
Follow the below steps to apply online for the scheme.

Visit the Captain Smart Connect website

Fill in your particulars

Click the "Register Now" button to receive OTP on your registered mobile number

Enter the OTP code and click on "Submit"

Receive your receipt with code on SMS and through email and keep it with yourself

Once the scheme rolls out you will be required to produce this receipt and a valid ID card to receive your smartphone
Phones will be given on a first-come-first-served basis. The last date to apply for the scheme is Dec 10, 2016.

Phone Disbursement
There will be an official notification by the government in newspapers and you will receive messages on your registered mobile number and email id with directions on when and where to claim your smartphone.
Disbursement of the smartphone with voice and data pack will begin in the first 100 days of the formation of the Captain's government (2017).
Current Status
Around 35 lakh people have registered for the Captain Smart Connect scheme. As of May 2019, the phones are not yet disbursed.
