Pasupu Kumkuma Scheme

Pasupu Kumkuma scheme was launched by Andhra Pradesh Government in February,2019. Pasupu Kumkuma scheme aims to provide financial help to women registered with self-help groups in Andhra Pradesh. Each beneficiary will be provided Rs 10,000 in cash and a smartphone.
Around 93.80 lakh women will fall under this category and the project will cost around INR 9400 crore.
Benefits

Financial Assistance of INR 10000. The total amount of INR 10000 will be disbursed in three phases as shown below.

Phase 1: The first installment of Rs 2,500 will be disbursed on 1st February, 2019.

Phase 2: Second instalment of Rs 3,500 will be disbursed on 8th March 2019.

Phase 3: Under this phase, Rs. 4,000 will be disbursed on 5th April 2019.

Eligibility

She should be native of Andhra Pradesh

She should be registered with Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas (DWCRA) group

She should be associated with any Self Help Group in Andhra Pradesh
