Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana intends to reduce health expenditure, improve access to quality health care, reduce unmet needs and out of pocket healthcare expenditures of people in Uttarakhand.
Benefits of Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana in Uttarakhand

A cover of Rs. 5 Lakhs per family per year for secondary and tertiary care

There is no restriction on family size, age or gender

All members of eligible families as present in the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) database are automatically covered

No money needs to be paid by the family for treatment in case of hospitalization

All pre-existing conditions are covered from day one of the policy. The benefit cover will include pre & post hospitalization

You can go to public or empanelled private hospitals across the country and get free treatment

You need to carry any prescribed ID to receive treatment at the hospital
Beneficiaries of Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana in Uttarakhand
All the families of Uttarakhand are eligible in the scheme but such families who got benefits from Central Government health scheme and other Government Health Insurance Scheme have not been included in the eligibility category.
Under the Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand scheme, information about the eligibility of your family can be obtained based on Ration Card Number / Voter ID Number /MSBY Card Number

You can either search with Mobile No. or Name or with NFSA (Ration Card), Voter ID 2012, MSBY Card No

Golden card
Before receiving treatment, the beneficiary will have to register and make a "Golden Card", this card can be made from your nearest Government Hospital / Community Service Center. To create a Golden Card, the beneficiary must take the Aadhaar card with you. Each member of your family can make their golden card.
