Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana of the Government of Odisha provides laptops to 15000 meritorious +2 pass out students with a vision to enable young people motivated, engaged and empowered to accomplish their full potential and remain connected with the digital world.
Eligibility Criteria of Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana Odisha

Permanent resident of Odisha

The meritorious students who pass the +2 level from CHSE, Odisha would be eligible to receive laptops under the scheme.

The Vocational students passing from CHSE (O) and Up-Shastri students passing from Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri are also eligible to receive Laptops from 2015-16
Merit list of 15000 candidates for this purpose shall be drawn based on the marks scored in CHSE exam in respective streams & Upshastri Exam
Documents Required for Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana Odisha

Certificate of identification from the concerned Principal/Head of the institution from where the student has passed

Original Admit Card of CHSE/College identity card.

Residence Certificate

In case, a student is unable to receive by person, in that case, delivery of laptop to the respective student can be made based on authorization letter given by such student with the justified ground and countersigned by the concerned Principal/ Head of the institution from where the student has passed. The person who will receive the laptop on behalf of the student will have to submit the identity proof (Voter ID/PAN Card/ Aadhaar Card/ Driving License/BPL card /Bank Pass Book with photographs).
Merit List of Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana Odisha
Follow the below steps to find the list of meritorious students in the scheme.

Visit Higher Education Portal of Government of Odisha.

Click on "Laptop Distribution"

Select the year of distribution

Now you can see the list of districts and the courses in which these students were enrolled (Arts/Science/Commerce, Vocational and Sanskrit).

Click on each of these courses to see the list of students who are eligible to get the laptop.
Implementation of Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana Odisha

Laptops would be distributed in 30 Nodal Centres.

The I.T Dept. will deliver the laptops to respective Principals of the nodal Colleges.

The Principals of the 30 Nodal Centers shall distribute the laptops to the students out of the approval list.

The list of eligible students of the respective Nodal Centres will be available on the website of the Higher Education Department

Soon after the publication of the select list of 15,000 candidates in July, students who have any grievance (regarding caste change, mark readdition, etc.) shall place the same before the concerned Principals. On consideration, if the grievance is found to be genuine, the Principals may include the names of such students in the supplementary list.
